Mr. Sanchez dedicates his law practice to the area of criminal defense law with a primary emphasis in Federal Criminal Defense. Prior to opening his practice he was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of California and the District of Arizona. Mr. Sanchez was also a former State and Federal Defense Attorney in both Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr. Sanchez has received significant legal training through both the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia as well as the Department of Justice’s National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Sanchez’s experience has produced a caseload which includes violent felonies, child molestation, deadly weapons assaults, aggravated DUI, white collar crimes, multi-state drug conspiracies and felonies with high media profile. He has extensive jury and non-jury trial experience in state courts and Federal Courts as well as having argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Sanchez has significant experience in preindictment investigations, grand jury probes, appellate procedure, competency proceedings, voluntariness proceedings and warrantless search and seizure hearings related to, or arising from criminal and quasi -criminal matters. His prior employment as a prosecutor gives him a unique perspective on the government’s case and their inherent weaknesses. He uses this knowledge and capitalizes on it for the benefit of his criminal defense clients.

Mr. Sanchez is a Native Spanish speaker having studied and worked in Mexico City, Mexico as well being a guest lecturer for Attorneys, Judges and Magistrates from Mexico and Colombia.
